My project is to build a prototype of the actual mega scale online game for the venture capitalists.
This is going to be an online real-life simulation game with main idea to educate people on financial literacy (how to handle and manage their finances through game play), somewhat simliar to 'second life' but there should be game play and storyline in it. The game also encourages entrepreneurship and should be able to support a large online community which allows for interactions, business transactions, buying, selling (like e-bay), building houses, shops, assets and game play (with a storyline).
I'm looking for game programmers who can programme landscapes and floodscapes with working features and raycasting engines. It is eventually going to be a megascale thing but i currently only need a prototype which is the development of workable financial features on the personal interface layout screen page for the player and navigatable landscape of the city which the game takes place, functioning buildings n spaces where players can enter and make purchases etc. be able to interact to other players through messaging (instant or not doesn't matter as long as there can be communication). a few developed characters in the game showing the different stages of possible game play and an online market community where buying selling, uploading of features and if possible stocks monitoring is possible.
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
The game must run on internet explorer as it is an online game. Game can be done in Java or flash or other programmes that can host large online gaming communities.
