Hello Coders! I'm looking for a reliable coder experienced in OSCommerce installations, hacking, upgrading, and fixing. I'm responsible for about 20 installations, and my last oscommerce person no longer wants to do it. For this bid specifically, I need to do the following: 1) I have a year-old installation that I need to have a shipping mod installed on. I need to be able to set a per-item shipping price. The version is [url removed, login to view], so it might be necessary to upgrade the whole installation, but this is up to you. As long as it's possible to do per-item shipping, that's what I need. 2) I have a fairly recent installation that the client wants "copied" to a new domain. So they have one working OSC install, and they want it copied over to a new domain they are getting, while still keeping the original install working as-is. I realize that it might be easier to simply install from scratch, but that's up to you. The point is, they want exactly the same site, graphics, etc., with only the main logo icon and domain name changed. When you post follow-up questions, let me know if it's necessary to know the real domain names of these sites. Please note: I will favor coders in EST time zone.
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
