Typo3 extension should display the number of page views for active page in FE. Page views are logged using config.stat_apache=1. If the developer has faster approach to page view logging, while preserving page IDs and using RealURL, it will be considered. SQL is not an option. Detailed explanation: To be able to display number of page views for active page, there should be extremely fast way to fetch (from TypoScript) cumulative number of page views for some uid provided, e.g. SELECT views FROM stat_summary WHERE page_id=1000 Obviously the extension should summarize data from [url removed, login to view] (which is rotating) to the table stat_summary. This task should be triggered as a cron job. It should remember id/tstamp where it has ended processing last time it was invoked, to prevent counting the same page views again. There should be a list of browsers that should be ignored for page view counting (should be defined as TS const), like Google and Yahoo robots, Typo3 indexer, etc.
