I want a website written in php/mysql that is essentially managing a membership website for me and integrates with the RBS Worldpay payment provider.
Full spec available and attached.
I would like the business logic separate from the presentation, using some template technology. I am not fussed about the graphical presentation at this point, this bid is purely to implement the business logic functionality.
I also want to be the database designer - I will provide this before project startup and any changes required during development must be ok'd by me prior to being implemented.
This bid is based on 1.0 of the spec uploaded below.
All code will be maintained by myself after delivery so it must be clearly commented in English and use a good programming technique.
It must also use templates so that business logic is completely isolated from the presentation.
I may want to add extra functionality to this and am prepared to accept a reasonable increase from the successful bidder on this.

Hi, this is being broadcast to all bidders. Thanks for bidding on my project. I intend to go through all of the examples provided over the next couple of days to get a feel of what you're capable of. With this in mind, please make sure you've posted details of a php site driven from a database. It would be a bonus to see RBS Worldpay integration as that's the payment processing company I've decided to use. I'm also keen on seeing the use of smarty templates (or equivalent) so any experience of that technology is a bonus. Thanks again for bidding.

Hi and thanks for your interest in my project. If you've already done eveything in this email please ignore - it's for the benefit of other bidders. I will begin working through the bid requests in the next day or two, so please ensure you have a bid registered - i'll skip over responses without a price since there's too many to process. There is a .zip attached to the original post, please make sure you've read it and your proposal implements everything within it. Please provide examples of your php work - again, any posting without php examples will be skipped over. Thanks again.

Hi I have received a number of bids and am processing them now. Some bidders have included a breakdown estimate showing how many hours they expect each of my requirements to take to implement. If you have not provided this information I would like you to do so. The reason for this is that there is a big variance in the price of the bids I've received. The more expensive ones are those that have provided the breakdown. This makes me worry that the lower bids have missed some of the functionality out, or have under-estimated the work involved. If you have already provided a break down, please ignore this message. If you have not, and are still interested in winning this job, please provide the breakdown (and revised cost if appropriate). Thanks in advance

Firstly apologies for broadcast rather than personal email and thanks to all who have remained interested in the project. We are currently working on the design of the system that the web site we require is going to manage. This process is taking longer than planned and has highlighted some extra requirements of the website. In the coming weeks, a revised set of requirements will be released and those parties who wish to, will be able to adjust their quote for the website. The project is still very much alive, don't worry about that. Thanks, and very best regards, Fran

Hi all First thanks for your patience and continued interest in this project. I have extended the deadline to reflect our latest plans. The overall project is 3 parts - 1) back-end server, 2) client software and 3) the website to manage the system. This bid is for part 3) of the overall project. As we are designing parts 1 and 2, new things are coming out all of the time and so the original spec posted here is not complete. The new plan is for us to have a brand new specification for the web site posted on here by 2nd March and then to pick our developer by 16th March. Thanks again for your patience.

Hi. We have just uploaded the latest web site specification for the project. It is available from the bid detail page under additional files. If you are still interested in the project please give details of your revised quote and please make it clear you are bidding based on v1.1 of the spec so there is no confusion later. Thanks and best regards.
