I maintain a specialized links site which has been running on a text database since the late 1990s. I know without being told that a mySQL database would be far better, but it's simply been a matter of not having time to revamp the site.
Anyway, the datbase has somehow become truncated, and the most recent complete backup copy I have is from October, and there have been significant changes, additions and deletions to it since then.
The way the site is configured is that it gets rebuilt manually from the database and creates static HTML pages. Those pages are still intact from the last datbase update, so all the necessary links and their ID numbers are contained in the HTML.
What I'd need is to have that information extracted and the text database recreated in the format the site currently operates on. I've attached a chunk of the database file for formatting purposes, along with a copy of the category database which corresponds with it. The site contains approximately 10,800 records, and these links appear on approximately 350 HTML pages.
I'll need this completed as soon as possible, and will provide more instructions regarding the site and file structure to the winning bidder. My initial deadline is seven days from today, but if you believe a longer term is going to be required, please let me know that and I'll consider extending it accordingly.
