My C# application uses the MS SQL Server 2005 Express Ed. as its database.
I created code to make an unattended setup of the sql server instance my app will use and also created code to allow only my app to login into that sql instance. So, I thought I was secure and that no one except my app would be able to open that database. But I forgot that if a user just import the mdf file using another sql server instance, all my security steps will be for nothing. :(
Now I'm looking for someone that knows how to deny users from importing my mdf file using another sql instance.
Also, if you have any other 100% secure solution, please place your bid.
