Dear Coders, I want to develop a website backup application that allows me to periodically (and automatically) backup selected websites and their databases to an alternate server. So, within the administration area of the application, I would define the URL, database details (like names and passwords) of those websites I wanted to backup. I would then specify when and how often to backup as well as how long to keep these backups for. We would need to define the destination location of the files- i.e. an alternate server. We would backup all the directories, files and databases on the site that is required to make it work. We would need to keep a log of the websites and the backups made, be able to easily restore to a desired position if necessary. I have 2 servers - GoldVision and HostGator. GoldVision does not have Cpanel but hostgator does. Thanks, Simon
