Hello,
I would like to have a simple hardware design. It should consist of a (preferably square, b/w, 160x160, cc. 2") touch sensitive? flat display and a circuitry that fits behind the display, so that the whole product could be fit into a package that is no thicker than 0,3", and there is only a really minimal border around the display (It would be the best, if you could propose some kind of solution in which many pieces of this hardware could be but next to each other so that they form a mosaic). It should have a slot for an MMC card. The device should have a MCU that is able to execute its program from RAM (at least? 128KB, preferably a bit more)? and boots from some built-in or on-board, preferrably? non-reprogrammable. A basic firmware would be needed: a first block of program code should be loaded from the MMC's second partition? to the RAM and execution should continue from there.
Devices should be connectable at all four sides so that they can form some kind of local network. (So that if one of the devices wants to send a message, all other devices receive it)
The devices should run from coin batteries and should be able to run also from an external power supply and also split the power through the connections between each of them (although external power is not a strict requirement)
I'm looking for a device which can be done around $30.
Please include a proposed parts list (including? main parts, no resistors, wires,? circuit board, etc.)? in your bid with prices and two done prototypes w/o casing.
I'm looking forward for your bids!
