This project is fine tuning of some work for a website that is already in place. I will comment the areas in my pages that require the work doing, and give specific instruction of what needs to be done. I need help on this project as deadlines are increasing and there are problems I can't get past myself. Outline: On a shopping cart I have created, there is a database loop displaying various products, each row has a hidden form field containing the item id and a field where the user can add a quantity for desired items, each field is made unique using an array. When the form is submitted, both fields are picked up on the next page using a foreach loop. This array is then converted into a session to retain the data as the user is passed through various parts of the cart process. The problem: Setting the array into a session variable only seems to work for the first page, when going to another page the session data is lost. Project brief: 1. Assess problem with session data being lost for sessions containing arrays and fix. 2. Store items of basket and their qty in another array for submitting to database table of customers order.
