We are looking to replace our core of the animator to our slots.
Basically we need a very specific part that will recive an input of number of reels, the amount of picture in the window and the strip of the bitmaps for each reels.
The software needs to recieve a request from our slots manager to start the animation.
At this point the software needs to start scrolling the bitmaps strips in high speed as appears in most of the vodeo slots.
The coder needs to have experiance with double bufering and graphics programming. the project is very focus and simple to the one who understand the subject.
The development platform is Windows XP, Vista.
A use of DirectDraw seems essential for the project but we would like to get opinion of other coders.
We need this code quick and we are looking for a professional in 2D graphics, OpenGL is not an option, and we need a simple memory moves of bitmap to window.
The resualt we need is a smooth scroll of the slot machine reels. Our company is specialized in gaming and has a wide slots platform. we are looking to optimize the slots visual perforamance and interseted only in the window that will scroll the slot when it is activated. before and after that stage our regular slot select the Paylines, activate and do all the work, we will only replace the window of the rales window to the new animator and will hide it when the reels are stoped. our existing slot will take it from their.
The video slot should be dynamicly configured to the amounts of Reels, usually its 3 or 5 and in each window arround 3 symbols,
each strip is ususally scrolling in a different speed and when they stop they stop one after the other.
I found a nice sample that called Pool Shark slot available for view

This software take control over the screen. this is not what we want but it can demonstrate the way the shapes should animate in the window.
In conclusion the shape animation of bitmap strips in smooth movment is the basic for this project
