We are looking to create a simple content management tool for our small design agency, we work with a lot of freelancers and we have an office in two locations so we wish to host this online to always give us access on the status of projects and invoicing.
There are essentially four tables, clients, projects, staff and invoices. The system would allow us to add staff and client details, and we would then be able to allocate projects against client that also showed the project costs and generate a PDF invoice that was then emailed to the client.
I have created an excel spreadsheet to show the fields, however I am looking for someone that can make suggestions on the best way to implement the features we need. Its an administration tool so it needs to be functional and user friendly, the design of the pages needs to be clear but not heavily designed, this is a coding job for someone who has an eye for design and can make it presentable rather than a work of art.
It should be password protected and hosted on our server.
You should be an experienced coder, I believe this can be created efficiently and quickly for someone with the right experience.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
We usually work in .net or asp and the server is windows 2000. We have components on the server for pdf upload for the invoices.
