I have a quick question on SQL Server. I need to check 10 fields Code1 thru Code10. I'm using the following SQL statement with a subquery as an example. I can get this work by building several subqueries for each code fields (1 - 10.
SELECT *
FROM Transaction_Detl
WHERE (Code1 IN
(SELECT Code
FROM Code_List
WHERE Code_Type = 'T'))
I would like to rewrite the SQL code listed above to check for the following fields in one statement without writting subqueries for each code. Is there a lookup function in SQL Server 2000. Please bid if this can be achived without subqueries.
