I need about 20 models to satisfy following criteria:
1. Each vertex should be connected to only 6 other vertices.
There can be few irregular vertices which are connected to 4 other vertices but I want to keep such irregular vertices to minimum if not zero. Those irregular vertices are ok at the boundaries of the mesh.
I have some 3D models which I want to convert to having the above criteria. Or you can create new models as well.
I have attached a zip file which has a smiley model which is an example of what i [url removed, login to view] connected to 6 [url removed, login to view] is the model which needs to be changed. I am using several software to do the remeshing but some of them dont work.
If its complicated to clean or modify these exiscting models i prefer having a new model( we can discuss how the models should look like) provided they satisfy the condition that each vertex is connected to 6 vertices or each edge is shared only by 2 adjacent triangles.
The reason Why I need it in such a way is so that I can apply wavelet transform on such models. If you have a better solution that will be acceptable as well.

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
