Hi, We are looking for a Symfony (or ROR) expert/ninja to build a website that will allow users to register and submit items for sale (under categories/sub-category), or submit a request to buy an item. Any registered user will be able to submit an item for sale (a new window with pop-up and allow the user to type in the details: properties, image, category->subcaterogy, price). All users in the system will be able (either by searching, or filtering all the current items in the system) to see its details (properties, and image, price) and choose to purchase it (at this time, purchase only means add an entry to the "purchased" table - no money transactions are needed at this stage.). Also, a new will be able to submit a "request for item", and will also fill similar details (cateogry->subcategory, properties, requested price). A per-user home-page will show users only items that are of interest to them (by selecting their interestged categories,sub-categorie(s) on registration, or later when updating their "profile"). A user profile will consist of contact information (name, addres, etc) and preferences (categories/sub-categories that are of interest). Simple search/filtering capabilities will also be required. (the home page will show a list of all currently available items for sale/items that are requested by users). A simple back-office interface will allow the admin to see all registerd users, all current-and-old transactions, manage items available, add/edit/delete categories/sub-categories, and see completed transactions. Time-tables are short, so only highly-experienced Symfony (or ROR) experts are welcome. Graphics (html mockups+images) will be provided by us. TIA.
