I need to update fields in a data base with information that we will download from amazon.com. that information is represented as a specific gif image in the source of the resulting search. Each gif image is a star rating and only one will be present per search. Based on the gif found in a search we need to be able to assign it a value from 2-10 and replace the value in the database, thereby updating with global star ratings for movies in that database.
This is a very quick project for anybody intrested and uncomplicated. i have a couple of preferences such as a progress bar and status lights for each search. green found, red not.
search example: <http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_d/102-6733554-7326519?url=search-alias%3Ddvd&field-keywords=794051804723>
Note: Search Does not perform correctly from this page. But will from the Document in the zip included. Also using this searchstring in a command line browser called iopus downloader will work correctly. im open to your suggestions.
