I have en existing application, written in DOS Basic, that performs specific mathematical functions to estimate the cost of building fuel tanks.
The person who wrote the applicaiton is long gone and of course, Basic is pretty out of date.
I need someone with experience in Basic to read the sourcecode for the Basic app and build an Excel spreadsheet that contains the logic.
My preference is for the Excel document to have two sheets, one which has the constants and the other which accepts the input and displays the results of the calculations.
I would like the spreadsheet to be commented to as large a degree as possible from the sourcecode, so that the spreadsheet can be understood and maintained.
I am providing the sourcecode as well as the rough beginning of a spreadsheet example of what I'm looking for.
I'm not interested in using VBA to do a question and answer like the Basic app does, the users of this spreadsheet just need an indication of where to put their data and what the data is for.
