Looking for a programmer to customize my video portal. A demo of the software can be found here: [url removed, login to view] I would like to modify this existing video sharing site to be able to accomodate the upload and sharing of not only videos, but allow uploading a document, or a URL/Link or create a new WIKI page. I would like to keep all features that are available to the current code for Videos, such as comments/rating/favorites etc... and simply add a new content type flag and then the ability to upload the following 3 additional content types: - document (example, PDF, word, PPT) - hyperlink/URL - WIKI Use Story #1 If the user chooses document, they will upload a document, if they choose hyperlink they will input a hyperlink, if they choose WIKI they will get a WIKI style HTML GUI editor. Use Story #2 End users can search for new documents, links, WIKIs, or Videos using the same browse and search feature that currently comes with the video search/browse feature. Therefore embedding the other content into the same browse method - see demo site above for example. Current site has a thumbnail option for videos, I would prefer to keep the same option of thumbnail viewer if possible for the hyperlink and WIKI and even the document if possible when users are searching and browsing for content. If not possible for all of the content types, then a simple placeholder logo for the file is fine. WIKI pages could be basic and must be allowed to be edited by others if a check box is selected that allows other authenticated members to edit the wiki (community WIKI or locked wiki) during upload time. Programnmer should be proficient in ASPX/.NET and SQL. The project is urgent and I would like to start and complete it very quickly.
