We have a small dance school and would like a web-based system to manage our database of students, run queries, see statistics and manage attendance levels. We have previously posted this job and we awarded it to a coder who designed an Open Office database for us to use, but we feel like we need a web version, mainly because Open Office is quite limited in some of the functions. I have attached images illustrating the desire layout and the desired functions we need the database to perform. All the functions described are eesential, and the layout is optimal for our use, please stick to the provided layout. Points of consideration: 1. we will be using Mac computers, and most likely Firefox to use the database. 2. If possible, can it be created to run offline and sync to an online version? We will be mainly maintaining the database at home where we have internet access, but we will be using the program offline on a laptop during classes. We have been told previously that it is possible to use an offline version, caching the data on the computer memory and syncing it to the online server when we get home. Please let me know if you can do this or not, and if you can demonstrate for us. 3. If possible, can it be used simultaneously by two users on two different computers?
