Music Crowdsourcing Using Facebook API

Today we have many ways to identify a song or a piece of music, but these algorithms don't work all the time, and they are not capable of associating an original song to the live version of that song for example.

So our goal is to make a fun application where we use the Facebook user's taste in music, then give him/her a few titles to listen to and identify, and he/she can enter related musics (youtube links ?). If done right, each answer gives some in-game coins, which in the end allow to get songs from a distributor (amazon, itunes for example). In order to add a gameplay mechanic to this project a user will be given more in game coins the faster they can identify the song. We will set up quizzes where a user is timed and the faster they finish identifying the songs, the more coins they receive. This will offer more motivation for users to give accurate results with speed.

As an passive incentive, we will create a ranking ladder of the best and how a user does compared to his friends. The resulting competitive environment will push the users to do more work for us without realizing it.
