We are creating help videos for software. The videos have narration (a voice track with someone speaking). You can see a sample video here: [url removed, login to view] (click the link) We want to be able to show the text from the audio track, so that someone without speakers can read what the narrator is saying. It would be best if the text shows up in a scrolling box inside the video itself. The text doesn't need to scroll. It can just go 15 lines at a time, or whatever. I've included a sample flash video, and the text script that goes with it. It's in the attached file. If you have an idea how to do this project, please provide a sample using this video clip. If necessary, I can provide an AVI file, though AVI will be much larger than flash. We tried looking for teleprompter software, but couldn't find anything that will run in a small window. Ideally, the best solution would allow us to: 1) first create the video 2) overlay the video with a "scrolling text box" 3) recapture the video, including both the original video and the scrolling text box. We are using Camtasia Studio for screen capture. We need something that will allow us to control the speed that the text box scrolls using the keyboard or mouse. That way we can listen to the speaker, and adjust the speed of the text box to match the speed of the speaker. Does anyone know of an inexpensive solution to this problem? The solution should either be inexpensive software or a "quick and dirty" custom solution. We need something fast, within 24-48 hours. It would be helpful if you can Yahoo Messenger once the funds are escrowed.
A solution to the above problem. It could be that there's software available that does what we want and we just haven't found it.
