**First, visit <[url removed, login to view]>
We frequently get custom product requests. A customer wants a product that is a couple inches taller here, a little longer here, etc. Our most customized product is our Trailer Ramps, which you can see in the link posted. The goal is to allow customers to configure their product and receive a basic cost estimate.
-Allow a user to input their required dimensions, A, B, C, D, E, and see a visual representation of their custom product (from a 2D profile view, and only the Trailer Ramps), as well as see a basic quote, all in a simple webpage.
-Store session data in a database. This would include all data gathered (dimensions, customer info, etc) even if the customer did not finish everything.
-Retrieve data via a backend admin "dashboard". This would include the ability to view recent requests, abandoned requests, modify dimensions, modify costs, and modify variables that effect how the cost is calculated.
****PLEASE NOTE**** Originally we noted that the website used ASP.net - this is incorrect. It uses just simple ASPX files (I believe that is ASP classic)
**Look and Feel**
-The visualizer should have consistent theming with our current website.
**-We would like this to be completed within a 30 days.
-Possibly in the future, we will want to expand this to incorporate more advanced drawing features, allowing the customer to draft a custom product of any of our Race Ramp products. This means the current version should be developed in such a way for future expansion. In the event this project works out well, we may want to hire the developer again. See <[url removed, login to view]> for an example of some of the drafting abilities we may want in the future - this isn't a requirement for this project, but rather is merely provided to future consideration.
**-All source files, including Flash and other media, will need to be delivered to Race Ramps upon completion.
