This project is a flash (.swf) file that emulates the behavior of a greeting card. It will need to be configurable via XML that can be passed in with flashvars. The configuration options will require up to siz images that will then be embedded into the flash.
We are looking for something similar to what is found here, with some modifications:
<[url removed, login to view]>
This is, essentially, a virtual greeting card product.
? - You’ll see that the flash file in at the above URL has several “pages?? (you can turn the page several times before reaching the back). We need exactly one page (like a greeing card).?
? - We need to be able to superimpose images on the flash file on page load (a cover image,? two inside images, and a back image), and these need to be configurable with flashvars on the fly.
? -? We actually need two versions of this, one for portrait cards (like the one in the example) that open right-to-left, and one for landscape cards, that opens bottom-to-top.
? - Lastly, the images we’ll be working with are 468x655, which is a ratio of about [url removed, login to view] to 1. This is the ratio we want to use. Additionally, the maximum dimension (width or height) that we can work with is 655 pixels, and the maximum screen size we can work with is 720 pixels. So, the ideal size for the vertically oriented card would be 720 wide by 504 tall, and for the horizontally oriented card it would be 504 wide by 720 tall. Also, it is necessary that the flash file be able to resize the images to fit in the allotted space if we pass in images that are too large.
