I have a php script that manages my upload/download service. This script is fully funcional except I would like to modify a few features of the software such as items below:
Deleting files from within the script:
It currently has this feature except it does not work. I have to delete the uploaded file thru the script to remove its listing, then delete it out of the ftp server because it will not delete even thou it said it has.
Prevent files with the exact filename from being re-uploaded thru the script:
If a user uploads a file, another user is currently allowed to upload another file with the exact same "file name" and wipe out the old file before I can do anything about it.
Create a 10 second preview of the file:
I would also like an audio player to play a 10 second preview of any file in my database within the users section of the script before a user decides to download a file ".mp3 file". I have a "credit" table in my sql table and would like to offer this service to members who have reached a specific number of credits on thier account during the lifetime of their account starting when this script is activated.
New since last visit:
I would also like a little script modified to let the user know ALL the new files added to the database since his/her last visit. This feature is already avaliable in the script but it only allows the last 5 files to be viewed.
