Simple Flex App to write to DB via Web Service

This project consists of many phases. The first phase being described here consists of a front-end web based data entry form. Upon submission, the data is to be written to a database with a few customer specific tags associated to the submission. The preferred technology is as follows:

- 1 front end web based application to be designed in Adobe Flex.

- 1 database model accepting transactional submissions from the front end application. Let's start with an MSSQL database, and this can be a single table DB instance for now.

- The architecture should utilize a web service to be hosted on the database side for data entry. ( So the Flex app will launch this web service upon data submission by the end user. )

Specs:

- The front end application will consists of two sections. The first is the user interface form, and the second is the administration form that will allow a GUI type interface for configuring some of the variable that will be passed globally along with the end user's submission.

The end user form has two survey questions.

The first question asks the user to enter an answer from 1 to 10.

then they are automatically brought to the second screen where they will answer a second question giving an answer 1-5.

So, the data getting passed to the web service that will write to the Database is quite small and efficient. It will call the webservice and send a few fields: Answer1, Answer2, Cust ID, Station ID, TimeStamp, Automated Primary Key.

Obviously this isn't a complicated phase I, but phase two and three of the project will be quite interesting to have as business if phase I works out nicely.
