I have an application that utilizes Macromedia Flash Media Server (formerly called Flashcom server) which I'd like a number of enhancements to. The application currently enables users to see a live audio and video stream from a Webcam-equipped PC in our conference room. If the user is also Webcam-equipped, the conference room display shows a thumbnail of that user's image as well. I'd like a variety of enhancements made on an ongoing basis, including: - The ability to resize live video windows - The ability to support multiple similarly-equipped computers in other conference rooms - More robust information about users connected to the system - Toggles for 1- and 2-way audio/video chat Requirements include - Prior experience working with Flashcom or Flash Media server - Experience developing video playback applications in Flash - Access to two to three PCs equipped with Webcams necessary to test the application - Working with our Operations team via email to get access to our in-house development and production environments The initial project scope involves working with our operations team to deploy the application to our in-house FlashCom server, and making two small enhancements to the application: 1) Allow the user to toggle between "small" and "large" size video window 2) Allow the conference organizer to send an email message including the password to a list of recipients when the conference is started. Once these simple enhancements are complete, sigificantly more development work will begin. The ultimate goal is for this application to become a robust tool for video communiation between our firm's offices.
