The project contains:
1. We provide the a 1.9.x Magento eCommerce Theme.
2. Customize the Magento eCommerce Theme to meet business requirements, with approximately (12) primary categories curated landing pages (you will leverage Hero-images, we shall provide, to promote specific hardware / software in a promo slider widget. There will be some sub-categories.
3. Increase the fidelity of the initial parameters provided by Ingram Micro, supplemented with a service like Etilize ([login to view URL]), provide costs of Etilize content service to the Magento website. We need a HOSTED solution instead of a downloaded version (SOAP or ReST). Need detailed search option. (Must be done prior to signing agreement with you), to add additional pictures and product details per Product matched with Ingram Micro's product database.
4. Integrate Magento to Ingram micro servers to automatically update stock, price and availability in certain time intervals. At the same send and receive orders over HTTP in XML format. We need daily Ingram Micro product feeds and not weekly feeds. Currently, Ingram Micro only has (3) eCommerce Platform providers, all of which do not meet our enhanced User Experience (UX) requirements of a Next-Gen eCommerce interface, as you often see with the latest themes available for Magento, PresoShop, and Shopify.
5. Provide us the detailed code of the work done.
6. As transaction volume increases, the hosted solution will need to be completely PCI compliment, but not for Phase I.
7. Leverage Ingram Micro's Taxes / U.S. County Taxes with Address Correction / Verification, or provide a system that will do this.
8. Integrate with an Accounting system back-end that we specify. This may be Ingram Micro, or another back-end accounting system / order management system. We are expecting this to be Ingram Micro, but we are not completely advised on this.
9. Use Shipping Logistics engine from Ingram Micro, preferably, because we will not be able to beat their UPS / FedEx pricing that eats into profit margin.
10. Do we use a financial processor from Ingram Micro or an external processor. Will need to be SSL and perhaps a Modal triggered for the payment piece. 1.9%-2.9%?
11. We need reporting for all transactions. Number of Amex, Number of Visa/Mastercard transactions to negotiate payment processor rates at later dates and for auditing purposes.
12. Needs to be SEO / Search friendly tags.
13. ADA compliant.
14. Does Ingram Micro handle the Tax Remitance?
15. Shared Hosting Initially? Where do you recommend this. It should be U.S. Servers and IP blocks.
16. Who can handle the help desk, if needed, to attend to customers that need to track an order? What service(s) should be used?
More details about Etilize and Ingram Micro services will be provided upon acceptance of the bids.
We are serious about the project and expect serious professionals who are capable of finishing the work in 1.5-month to 2.5-month timeframe.
We expect between 18,000 - 22,000 fulfillment transactions the first year. This site does not yet exist, but contracts and pre-negotiated pricing with Ingram Micro has already been provided, Ingram Micro account number, initial feed (we expect and updated feed soon), etc.
