NOTE: Read the project description PROPERLY. If you do not bid on EXACTLY what I am asking for, your bid will be deleted immediately!!! I am sick of time wasting bids from SEO firms who don't correctly answer our bid request!
We are an Australian-based SEO/SEM company looking to outsource some of our Link Building tasks to someone on a regular basis.
This first job will require you to get as many links as possible in a 10 Hour period of time. It is a TEST to see how well you work.
The person (or company) chosen MUST have an established business with plenty of previous experience in link building. We expect references and a good feedback from previous clients.
If you do a good job, we will seriously consider giving you regular work to do link building for our firm. We could easily use an additional 30-40 hours/week of link building on a regular basis right now, so this is an opportunity for you to prove your value to us, with the prize being a regular contract to link build for us.
We are NOT looking for a bid based on a price per link, nor a price based on the Page Rank (PR) of the site it gets a link from. We are looking ONLY for a bid per hour of work done.
Bids which do NOT conform to this will be deleted!
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
At the moment, most of our link building is done via Search Engine Friendly directories, so you would need to be familiar with using these sorts of sites to perform link building.
You MUST already be using software such as Directory Link Submitter (DLS), Directory Submitter, or similar to do your link building. You will NEED to tell us which application you use as part of your bid.
Of extreme importance is that whatever you use does NOT involved spamming or automatic submission to the directories. We use software to speed up the process, but at the end of the day, our consultant visits EVERY site and manually chooses the best category to submit the link into, and THEN completes the submission using the software.
If you use software that auto-submits without the operator manually visiting the site and choosing an appropriate category, we do NOT want you using this software for our work and would expect you to use an alternative.
In all cases, we would provide a selection of titles, descriptions and keywords for each client, for each job, so you just have to add them into your software.
That way we get variable links being built, rather than all of them saying the same thing, which looks suspicious to Google.
In addition to building one way links to our client sites via directory submission, you would need to document your work - we will provide instructions along with a spreadsheet that you can copy & paste entries into for each entry made.
This is IMPORTANT for our records for clients, so it MUST be done properly.
Please note that we are NOT wanting recipricol link exchanges with these directories, nor are we looking for paid links either.
If a directory does not offer a free link without any conditions, you should move onto the next directory, but make a note in your spreadsheet that they require a recipricol or paid link only.
One thing that is important is that you MUST be able to choose a category or sub-category for the submission of links that is fairly on-topic. This shows both a good grasp of English and Reasoning skills.
If we find the submissions are placed in inappropriate categories, we will expect you to fix this or redo the job, otherwise payment will not be released.
For the job, we will do our best to give suggestions for categories that might be appropriate, but it is up to you to look at the client's site, understand a little about what they do, and be selective in your choice of categories for submission.
Our current experienced staff can usually make 10-20 submissions per hour, including documentation, so we EXPECT you to be able to achieve a similar result if you have already had experience doing this sort of work using this sort of software.
Lastly, this job is a trial run. If you perform the work well, we will be in a position to give you plenty of regular work in the future, so now's your chance to impress.
This could very well turn into a full time 30-40 hrs/week position, due to our increasing need for ongoing link building for clients, so please keep that in mind when you bid AND also whether you are interested in ongoing work from us.
We also have bids on other sites looking for the right person, so be aware you are competing against multiple coders to get our long-term regular business. The best overall coder (based on price, quality of work & speed) will win the regular business.
Any additional training/documentation you will need to perform this task will be provided by us once we have chosen the winner.
You **_MUST_** be using some sort of Directory Submission software to do this job. We will need to know what you are using in order to determine its suitability for the work.
If you do not have such a software tool, you can check out these following applications, which are all ones we like:
