I would like to offer someone the opportunity to join me in a joint venture. I am a brick and mortar firearms dealer, and I'm moving into the online world. I don't need your money, only your skill. This will be the deal of a lifetime for someone with the right skills to make this work.
I would like to offer someone the opportunity to join me in a joint venture. I am a brick and mortar firearms dealer, and I'm moving into the online world. What I already have setup: - Distributor accounts (3 that do dropshipping on all non-gun items). You have to have a federal firearms license (took me 6 months to get) to get accounts with these people. Therefore, this is a very select market that not just anybody can walk into. You have to have a physical place of business with normal business hours, which I have. - An oscommerce site setup with TONs of extra coding built into it. There are scripts (currently not turned on) that go out each day and pull data from all three distributors and post the current inventory counts and prices to the site. There are also half a dozen other scripts that handle more routine tasks involved. The site is currently empty, but after running a few scripts it will populate to over 500,000 products. I have the database emptied now and the scripts turned off until someone decides to take it over. The url is easy money pawn shop dot com. - Facebook, twitter, SEO, etc. already setup - An awesome script that compiles a series of products (3000+) on my computer and then automatically lists them all on [url removed, login to view], which is a site that allows you to list for free and you only pay if it sells. The products are filtered to only list products over $X, and to automatically mark up products $X plus Y%, and have several other great features. This is a big money maker for the site. The oscommerce sites also has an active link to the gunbroker sales to integrate the two. What I need: - Someone to take this and run with it. I own the brick and mortar pawn shop, and also own a security business. Between the two, it comesumes all of my free time. I was barely able to devote enough attention to the online side to get it as far as it is now. - Aside from [url removed, login to view], I have had no sales. I need someone that can come in and run the site as they see fit. If that means deleting everything I've done and starting over, so be it. If you think it would work better with several small sites in niche markets, that would be fine with me. - I need someone that is experienced, and can handle the marketing side, customer service, and regular maintenance. - The good: I don't need your money, just your experience. I need someone with skills, and I'm not looking for an investing partner or trying to scam anyone out of their money. I just want your time. - The risk: You will be paid a percentage of the overall profits from the site. This is good in someways, such that your pay depends on how successful you are in promoting and maintaining the site. So if you are confident in your ability, you could make recurring revenue weekly from this venture for years to come. However, if you fail, your time will go unpaid. You bid should include your experience level, other clients you've worked with, and what percentage of the profit you are bidding for. Bid $5 if you are bidding on 5% of the profit made, and $99 if you are bidding on 99% of the profit paid. The person chosen will be based on skill level as well as percentage of profits required. Thank you for your time, and I look forward to working with you.
