To develop a WAP or HTML browser that runs on the Java version of the RIM Blackberry (European model 6700 for example) and handles frames.
The typical page to be handled would look something like the result of a search on the Vivisimo search engine ([url removed, login to view]).
The RIM Blackberry must retain its secure communication with the Enterprise Server, with all traffic encrypted. The browser will therefore need to work with the Blackberry operating system.
The executable code must be installed through the existing application loader, delivered with the RIM Blackberry terminals as part of the Desktop Manager synchronisation package.
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.
The application loader will need to run on desktop PCs using Win NT 4 and Win XP.
The application code will need to run on the Java-based RIM Blackberry PDA.
The browser must be able to load and use HTML pages that use frames.
