.htaccess redirect and switcher for mobile site

I need a .htaccess file that will enable me auto detect mobile users and allow them to switch between mobile and full versions of a website.

The file needs to do the following:

1. When a mobile user goes to '[url removed, login to view]', they are automatically redirected to '[url removed, login to view]'.

2. If this user clicks a link on the mobile site such as '[url removed, login to view]', a cookie should be created (eg. pref: full) and the user sent to the '[url removed, login to view]'.

3. If the user returns to the mobile version of the site via a link such as '[url removed, login to view]', the cookie should be changed to reflect that the user prefers the mobile version (eg. pref: mobile) and the user sent to '[url removed, login to view]'.

4. If this user returns on his mobile device at a later date, the .htaccess file should check for the cookie and redirect the user to either the full version or the mobile version of the website depending on the cookie that was set last.

5. If there is no cookie set, the user should again be automatically redirected depending on whether they are using a mobile device or not.
