What I have is a website that is going to sell tickets online and pay via paypal. What I need is for the person who wants to buy tickets to go to the tickets page, fill out a form with name, address, phone, email, etc and then that information is written to a text file and they are directed to paypal for payment. So basically at the end of the process the following happens.
1. person registers.
2. email is sent to our email address and all info is written to a text file called [url removed, login to view]
[url removed, login to view] is directed to paypal and payment is process for the number of tickets they want.
[url removed, login to view] is redirected back to website.
At the end of the registration time frame I will then have an email from everyone who bought a ticket with their information in addition to the number of tickets they ordered as well as a master text file with everyone on the list who bought a ticket. Because paypal will also send an email, I will be able to compare the lists to make sure those who registered actually payed. I would also like an additional field in case the person buying tickets would like to make an extra donation. ( the tickets are for a charity event).
I know PayPal has a reporting tool so the [url removed, login to view] file may not be necessary. The site is HTML (no database) but the running environment is Linux. A php script or pearl or js may be needed to make sure the payment option communicates with PayPal correctly.
At the end of the payment the visitor must get redirecetd to my site.
