Creating documentation on a current installation (credit software application, mid-sized, supporting 8000 consumer accounts, and 20 users): networking requirements, installation parameters for the business application, ORACLE parameter settings, BEA WebLogic parameter settings. Document all security. Create documentation per development company for additional documentation needed for installation. (Functionality documentation is out of scope)
Arrange for installation of all appropriate network connections, DSL in the new site in Atlanta, GA. Prepare site for plug-in of all servers/equipment from current site. Attendance in both New York and Atlanta will be required.
Prepare 'Plan B' on back up Sun server, w/ORACLE, BEA Web Logic, business application. Bring up Plan B system with specified functions before moving on to next stage.
Install current equipment in new facility, check, test for all network connections, inc. transfer of existing url to new site, and new ftp site.
[Implement Plan B if above does not work]
1. Deliver documentation that can be understood by a new qualified resource such that the installation, parameter settings, networks requirements, and other variables are documented and can be repeated. Produce exacting documentation to good quality standard.
2. Deliver working Plan B system on Sun/Sun Solaris server, with ORACLE, business app., BEA WebLogic, and parameters and data back up installed
3. Organize and manage the set up of the new site with network and DSL connections.
4. Install all existing equipment in new site, and ensure working within 24 hour period.
