Interactive Apparel Design

I want to have a website created for an online apparel pattern creator similar to the T-Shirt creation applications that exist today. I wanted to outsource the design and creation of the front end and back end application to the right company. And I want to have this work completed by a company that can see the vision for creating an application that will be flexible as the product range increases.

Initially, there are three products that I want to have the user be able to create a logo pattern on the virtual fabric. While only three products today, I want the template to be able to be used for other similar products. Initially the products are a men’s tie, a fabric belt, and flip-flops. The user would be able to add a business logo to each of these items and have it populate over the full fabric of the products. The user would be able to adjust the size of the logo, orientation on the fabric, and spacing between the logo in real time and have it appear on the fabric for each item.

So for example, the men’s tie would be shown in full size on the website and the user would be able to take a logo and insert it on the face of the tie and have it replicated across the entire tie. The user could adjust the background color, orient the logo 360 degrees in order to insure it is oriented properly, drag the corner of the logo to increase or decrease the size, and then adjust the space between the logos to achieve the right pattern. The user could also to have just a single logo inserted on the tie rather than have a pattern of logos.

This would be the same for the fabric belt and the flip-flops fabric that goes over the top of the foot. Additional allowances for polo’s, T-Shirts, caps, duffel bags, mouse pads, or whatever would be appropriate based on product expansion.

Easy creation for the product replicas is very important for both my team and external consumers. For the internal staff, we will create the designs for businesses and the proactively send them links to the website that has been individually created for them. In addition, the consumer should have the ability to easily make modifications or create entirely new patterns within the application. The customer must be able to see their creation and be able to place the order in real time.

Once the customer has created a pattern, they should be able to save for later use, utilize standard shopping cart, and be able to place an order. The order path would be for a specific volume, includes a minimum threshold for each item, standard credit card and PayPal options, standard security solutions, etc.

I would like it to be a standalone application that can be hosted by my hosting company and not be dependent on another third party.

An example of the kind of application I was thinking about can be found at [url removed, login to view];F=01100&loc=img. Unfortunately this takes some time to load and may not be exactly what can be done, but it is an example.

I have a budget of $500-$1,000 but I'm willing to pay more for the more complex designs and am willing to listen to serious designers that can create this website. Please forward me proposals, timelines, previous examples of similar work, and possibly demos before we conclude. Our project need is immediate and we can get started as soon as we have the right designer. Serious bidders only!!
