Basically I want someone to write a simple e-mail client using Java, which will allow you to recieve e-mail messages using the POP3 protocol.
However I've already done this part of it. All I need is someone to add to my code to allow attachments to be extracted from the message and saved to hard disc, this should be done using the base64 class.
Also the message it's self needs changing so that only the from, sender, date, subject, text body is shown.
At the moment I've got it down to the from, sender, date, subject from the header but had lots of problems spliting the attachments/text.
I can send you the .java files if your interested in doing the extras for me.
Please help! I need it within a week!
1) Add functionality onto my current program to allow the "View a Message" menu option to extract attachments and save them to file.
2) Add functionality onto my current program to allow the "View a Message" menu option to show only from, sender, date, subject and any texted based body - nothing else.
3) Return to me via e-mail for quickist as need it by Tuesday 9th.
Java done in JBuilder.
Already started in JBuilder but will send you .java files as this will be easiest.
