I am using the reflexion api to load external classes in my project (an extension system). I have programmed a ClassLoader derived class, and use the Class object forName method. I get a IllegalAccessException when doing so (the classloader does his job, I have checked).
Can someone make me an working example under netbean of a main project loading external classes like I do?
What I would like you to do, is two projects under Netbeans. The main application one contains the definition of the abstract class used to communicate between the extension and the application, and the extension loader. It should uses a specially defined classLoader class to load the external class with a forname method of the class object. I can send you my own classloader code for you to inspect.
Then the second project is the extension itself, derived from the abtract class.
I would also like to know if it is possible for the extension to access the data or classes defined in the main application.
