I am currently on a project in which we need to get images from a framegrabber card, alter them, and then export them to the web. So far, the code for grabbing and altering the images has been taken care of. We also have access to a server for sending out our streaming video. What we need is someone to write the code that will take the grabbed images and export them to the web. At this point, time is a big issue, so we have flexibility as to how you want to do this, but we do have some requirements: First, the part of the program that has already been written is in Java, so the rest would have to be as well Second, the computer the framegrabber card is attached to is using Microsoft IIS 5.0, so you will have to write code that will be compatible with that. Third, if possible, we would like the streamed images to be incorported into a web page rather than be sent as a separate window, though if you can't, we can live with that. As a final note, I really don't care which method you use to do this, whether it be JMF or some other video streaming program, just as long as it works and you can explain how it works. Basically, I am under time pressure and don't have the ability to take the time to learn how to do it myself, so I need someone to do it for me. This should not be any more difficult than delivering code for a webcam, except that my project will need to update the pictures somewhere around 5-10 times per second if possible. If you have any questions (I forgot to mention something or whatever) then I would be happy to answer them for you. Thanks. -Matt
1) Complete and fully-functional working code (since this is java, and since I will be altering your code to work with my program, executables probably woudln't be the way to go) 2) All programs, dll files, and other software that I would need in order to make the code work 3) A README file that completely documents how I can setup and then use your code 4) Complete instructions as to how to make sure my website properly incorporates your code 5) Availability after code delivery for questions (this would be just answering a couple of questions over the week or so after you deliver your code, not something where I'm hassling you for months and months).
The computer I am running on uses Windows 2000 Professional, IIS 5.0, and I am currently developing on Eclipse Platform Version 2.1.1.
