Javascript Imagemap Editor

We need a client-side imagemap builder developed. This should not require java, activeX, flash or shockwave and should operate in IE 5.5 or later for Windows. This may use JavaScript, CSS, HTML and DHTML or any other technology supported by a default IE 5.5 install. The image map editor will allow the user to add and remove areas to the image map. A POST to the server will only take place once all areas have been created or removed. Each area will need to take coordinates, url, target and ALT text. Rectangle, Polygon and circle areas need to be supported. Please refer to the attached PDF for an overview of the interface and flow of this application. The application will be provided a with a url to an image that will be used in the image map. The developed application should store all of the data into a select element called MapData[]. The brackets are required so that when this field will be treated as an array by PHP on the back end. The value of each element of the select list should be a ^^ separated list in the following format: Coordinates^^ShapeType^^Link^^Target^^Alt Text.
