OCS is looking for JBoss developers (Java) to write canonical applications to exercise a new beta software product
OCS is developing a new software product. This software product is
designed to support software testers and developers creating JBoss hosted browser based applications.
OCS would like to contract with some JBoss developers to write applications, try our product, review it and coordinate with us for testing. We will do this in multiple stages. We will start with a simple test, awarding multiple contracts. We will see who delivers well on these initial contracts. OCS will then contract larger efforts to those who do good work.
Since this is an unannounced product, we will require the successful
bidders to sign a reasonable non-disclosure before starting the work.
Focusing now on this initial contract, you must provide a windows box,
running Internet Explorer 7 or 8 and a linux box running JBoss V 5.1 or 4.3.
You must find (or write) a non-trivial JBoss application that is accessed
via the browser. Then you will install and try out our product on that
application, reporting your experiences, bugs and general review. This
report is the deliverable. Since this is early product testing, there
may be some back and forth with us to support you.
Once you have your JBoss application running, it should take less than an
hour to try out our product.
For those that do a good job on this initial testing, we anticipate
additional efforts soon after the completion of this effort and this will involve more in-depth Jboss development skills.
