I need two online multiplayer games created for one of my fan websites. They can be created in Flash or Java or whatever your heart desires, so long as they are attractive and fast loading, and easily immersed in a browser window.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.
The games I need are:
1) A scrabble-like game. Can't be exactly like Scrabble for copyright reasons, but must be relatively similar. Must allow for multiple rooms, with 4 players allowed in each room. No need to tie into a dictionary. I would like for the first player to be able to choose from one of 3 languages when starting a room (English, and two others), and the tile sets to match the appropriate language. Players take turns, and all players must agree that a word is "acceptable" before moving onto the next player. Small chat window embedded into the game is required. Game ends once all players agree that they can play no further. Points awarded similarly to the way they are in the real Scrabble game. Game window must have a lobby where people can congregate and discuss starting a new room before entering one.
2) A pictionary-like game. Please see [login to view URL] for an example of what would be ideal. Game must allow for multiple rooms of up to 8 players. Players can create new game rooms. Small chat window embedded into the game is required. When starting a room, the first player selects a word-list (i.e. Movies, Books, General, etc.) that the drawing words are chosen from. The game randomly selects a player to draw first, players guess in a window. Time counts down -- everyone who guessed correctly during the time span gets some points (first one to guess gets the most). Correct guesses do not show in the chat/guess window. Game must allow for different drawing tools, colors. Game lasts for set number of rounds (chosen by the person who started the room). Game window must have a lobby where people can congregate and discuss starting a new room before entering one.
I'd prefer that both games have an easily modifiable appearance by myself. Must have an easy interface to start the servers for the games.
## Platform
Both games must be able to run easily in a Linux Red Hat 8.0 server environment, and again, must be online multiplayer games that multiple people can connect to. Can't be too heavy on server load, either. Must be immersable in a browser window, and work in I.E. 5.0 or higher, and Netscape.
