We need an overview of creating a custom plugin for the Oracle Access Manager.
We would like to modify the Oracle Access Manager to accept a 3 parameter along with username + password. This 3rd parameter is a string value that will be passed to a webservice for authentication.
Based on the the return value from this webservice, we would like to determine the users role.
So, for example:
John, an employee visits the login portal and supplies his username, password and a third factor "x". The 3 creds are provided to the Oracle AM, and the 3rd factor is submitted to a 2nd webservice. This webservice returns a value 0 or 1.
If john's other creds check out, then based on this value John is logged in as a user 0, or admin 1.
We don't need code written for this, we only need guidance on how such a thing would be accomplished and what work we would need to do.
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
