I've been playing around with this and can't figure
it out. If you have a solution for this, I'll gladly
pay for it.
Let's say I have a page called [url removed, login to view], which is
made up of 100 lines of html code, and let's say line
45 says something like this...
Total value of inventory: US $1281.75
I know that pages will change from time to time, so I can
never be sure that it will always appear on line 45, but
I DO know that somewhere on the page it will always say...
Total value of inventory: US $
... followed by an amount.
will read that amount and assign it to a variable I can use.
are various things like [url removed, login to view] and
[url removed, login to view] that you can use to
retrieve source code on the current page.
Unfortunately, in my experiments, I can only reference
The code I've been using (which doesn't work) is something
var getthecode=[url removed, login to view];
var loc1 = [url removed, login to view]('Total value of inventory: US $');
var amount = [url removed, login to view]((loc1 + 30),(loc1 + 7))
It'd be nice if it worked in most browsers, but I'll take
what I can get.
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
