OC Systems is soon launching a new product based on our software instrumentation technology. This new product allows a user to find out where a browser based (IE or FF) J2EE (Jboss) application is slow, both in the development phases and while the application is in production.
OC Systems is looking for Beta users to try out this new product on their own applications; browser based J2EE applications. OC Systems anticipates multiple awards for this work, and those who do a good job will be asked to continue to assist in the product evolution under a separate and larger contract, depending on their skill set. These additional awards would follow quickly after successful completion of this first task.
A successful bidder will have access to a windows computer with IE and/or Firefox, and a mainstream Linux box (e.g., Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOs) running JBoss and a J2EE application. There may be other software components in the system. The task will be to download our commercial quality product, install it and try it on your application. The deliverable will be a report of the experiences, bug reports if any, and suggestions for the product. It is anticipated that this evaluation should take about three hours. Full support will be provided.
A more detailed description will be provided on contract award, but the idea is that this product can be downloaded and used easily.
Please submit a brief resume and a description of the application that you will be using.
This is a good chance to get in on the ground floor to participate in a new product definition and launch. We are looking for a few good people to become part of our team.
