This demo is to mimic a database query for info on exchange traded funds (ETFs or "certificates"), but there is no actual database.
The first page is to show a simple search box asking for an ISIN number to be entered.
As a result of the query, there are two possible result pages, dependent on the fund queried (and a default error page for no instrument found).
The two examples refer to ISIN NL0000050748? and DE000AA0E480.
(See attachmant for details)?
When any other ISIN is entered, a default error message should say "no instrument found"
When clicking the "Prospectus(PDF)" link, the corresponding PDF should be opened (see attachment).
When clicking the show as XML, an error message should say "No XML can be created at this time".
This demo should make use of JSF (java server faces) and be deployed in Tomcat or Glassfish or JBoss.
The layout is not important. We will compare the structure of this program with other frameworks.
The task should be completed by 24-Nov-2009 6pm CET.
It is important, that the Java code for the two different funds is implemented as two separate classes (beans) that inherit from a generic funds class.
All source code and a .war file are to be provided and should run in Tomcat, Glassfish or JBoss (your choice).
Don't hesitate to ask for clarifications.
