Java program using either AWT or LWUIT gui to do the following on the Symbol/Motorola MC90XX barcode reader running Windows Mobile 5. We would prefer a standalone program, but if it has to run within the standard Explorer browser on the device that would be OK. We would also prefer LWUIT over AWT.
We think that any coder will either have to have, or have a lot of experience of, the Symbol/Motorola 90XX family of barcode readers. This is not excerise in writing a Java program, the task is to write a Java program and make it do what is needed on the device.

? ? ? ? ? ? Message to all bidders
I regret to say that we will not be accepting any of the bids offered. None convinced us that they were familiar with the problems of the MC9090 and really knew how to get it working with Java. That was the key requirement.
Having come to this conclusion, I spent the past 3 days with it and resolved all the major problems:- i.e. which Java, which compiler, which Symbol classes to use and how etc. We still have to write some AWT stuff, but we will probably do that ourselves.
I write to thank you for looking at our project and taking the time to bid.
