Implement Amazon Web Services into the website via the Amazon API to the database, for output when the end user makes search queries.
Fix search bar on main page, there is an autocomplete script setup for the search bar at the top of the pages, however it does not work on the main index page.
Create a boolean operator solution so that when a user makes a query they can use either the minus (-) sign or AND OR NOT operators to refine searches.
Results displayed on each page have a coupon_code field in the database, this is supposed to be listed before any other relevant results, however it works on certain pages but not all. This needs to be fixed. Either the coupon code field is null or not null so all not null should be displayed first.
Verify that the linkshare and cj api product import is not running into msql errors or that there are any bugs.
Currently the display does not appear correctly in all browser and resolutions, programmer will fix the code so that it is viewable correctly in all browsers and resolutions
Related stores / Related Categories - There is a function that displays related stores and categories, based on the user's query, however, it does not function very well. Programmer will fix or rewrite the function so that related stores and categories are relevant and offering the best possible results.
There are 4 current imports going on right now, which go through a function to filter basic problems like expiration dates, grabbing coupon codes, junk imports (example: imports that contain only 8 characters or less).
The Amazon import should run on a cron job alongside or around the same time as the other 4 imports which are Commission Junction, Linkshare, Shareasale and Connect Commerce (GAN Google Affiliate Network)
The additional requests are merely bug fixes and enhancements to work that is already done.
I forgot to mention one more issue in the initial description. When a user does a search query, if there are no results for coupons or deals, the function then goes to the product search page which queries the Commission Junction and Linkshare API / Web Services feed to grab products. The programmer that implemented this, did not put the price anywhere in the output for the user to see, I would also need this done, very simple fix.
