What I need is a countdown script that will: 1. Start the countdown once a person lands on a specific webpage. 2. Using the person's IP address AND a cookie, the countdown will continue until a time I can specify. 3. After the countdown has elapsed, the webpage will remove "deadline" links and tell the visitor the time limit has expired using PHP. The countdown script is required to have the following: 1. The code must prevent the user from circumventing the removal of the "deadline" links once the countdown has expired. 2. It must also be modular so that it can be implemented on other websites. 3. The countdown must be configured to work in number of days away rather than a specific date (e.g. 4 days away rather than June 6, 2007). 4. Comments should be made in the code to explain its functionality and how to customize it. 5. The countdown display must use a days:hours:minutes:seconds format in red, Arial font, 28px high. 6. The countdown time period, webpage messages, deadline links, countdown display color, font, and size must all be customizable. 7. The final package must contain the cookie code and how to deliver it to the visitor's computer. All rights to the script will be transferred to me upon payment. Full documentation on using the countdown script must be provided. A status report on the progress of this project will be required every 3 days. Turnaround time is expected to be 10 days.
