There is simple searchengine (test mirror [url removed, login to view]).
Currently the searchengine uses data from 3rd party database.
After entering keyword and starting search the searchengine recieves the data via JSON API and displays it.
The search can be run by entering the searcqhuery or by using an url request: ***.de/?q=xyz
The searchengine is based on wordpress as CMS. The design of the UI is defined through the wordpress theme and and some design data in the post.
The hew searchengine structure ([url removed, login to view]) based on own mysql database should replace the existing solution.
1. Entering searchquery in the searchfiled or calling ***.de/?q=xyz will lead to a request send to [url removed, login to view] and dispalying the searchresults from the mysql database.
2. When entering the searchquery suggestions will appear.
3. The overall design of the searchengine, the searchfield and the results should be kept.
Please ask questions if something is not clear. I guess a skilled .js ajax coder would be the best for the job.
