I need an existing javascript pop up calander update to accept two new optional parameters....
## Deliverables
I have an exisiting javascript calendar used through out one of my web apps.? I need to have it modified to accept two additional optional parameters.
1.? The first optional parameter should be how far in the past a user is permitted to enter dates.? I suggest this value be the number of days backwards from the current date.? ? For example if "15" is enterd for this parameter the user could change the calander to any date from the current date to 15 days ago.
2.? A value indicating how far in the future a user is permitted to enter dates for.? I suggest this value be the number of days forward from the current date.? So, for example, if a value is submitted for this parameter of "30", then the javascript should not allow the user to enter dates beyond the current date plus 30 days.? If no value is entered for this parameter, then the user can enter dates as far as they like in the future.
Currently the calader is called like this...
<script>DateInput('startdate', true, 'YYYY-MM-DD','2009-11-08')</script>
The first parameter is the variable name to be posted.
The second parameter is whether or not this is a required field
The third parameter the format the? date is to be posted as
The fourth is the date the calander starts at.
The 3rd and 4th are optional parameters and may or may not be included in the existing web app programming.? It would be useful? to pass variables to the javascript like this....
<script>DateInput('startdate', true, daysallowedbeforecurrentdate='15', daysallowedaftercurrentdate='30')</script>
So that I do not need to go through the entire web app and update each place it is called to include the 3rd and 4th? optional parameters to allow me to add the 5th and 6th parameters that I am asking you to program.? If I need to go through the entire web app and update every place I have the calander to accomodate the ability to add the 5th and 6th parameters, I will but I would prefer not to.? I just don't know enough about javascript to know if variabls can be passed as I suggest.
I have attached the existing js file along with the graphics files it uses...

Thank you all for your bids. Based upon some feedback I am altering the requirements slightly. Instead of limiting input based upon a number of days backwards or forwards, I want to change it to a MinDate and a MaxDate set up. So, for example the parameters that would be passed would look something like.... DateInput('startdate', true, 'YYYY-MM-DD','2009/11/11',MinDate='2009/11/01,MaxDate='2009/12/31') OR DateInput('startdate', false, MinDate='2009/11/01, MaxDate='2009/12/31') Please let me know asap if this changes your pricing....I will be choosing a coder shortly.
