I use disqus comments on my wordpress sites disqus.com. The comments use some sort of ajax so that when a user leaves a comment or goes to page x of y in the comments the page doesn't refresh and the comments auto-update.
What I want to do is change this so that the page and the adverts update when a user leaves a comment and also when they go to page x of y. It would be even better if this counted as a full page view as well.
Disqus have told me this is possible and have even given me the url of a site that have done it:
"...just requires you to write up some logic on your end ("do this when disqus loads or expands more comments" sort of thing), and once you've done that we can provide a fairly simple hook from our end. this is the way it was done with the example site below. And you may also be able to set up your measurement system to count this as an additional page view without having to make your users reload the page. An example btw is here: http://www.lifescript.com/Health/Conditions/Depression/Top_10_Ways_to_Beat_the_Blues.aspx#dsq-comments."
I expect this will be a small change for someone who knows what they are doing, so the budget is small.
