Social Networking features for Web2.0 site

Required Skills:

- Expert level AJAX

- LAMP solution stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP)

- Web design, CSS, HTML

Project Description:

This is part 1 of a Web2.0 site. Part 1 is basicially some social networking features that are common in Web2.0 sites today (facebook, myspace etc). I have already formulated a basic design for most of the website. I also have a CSS design that needs some editing.

Here is a short description of the pages/functions that need to be completed for this project:

1) Style sheet that has a persistent top menu bar for site navigation, and a persistent side bar for profile navigation.

2) Member registration Page

3) Profile Page: Displays User information, Friend List pane, and some extra information.

4) Personal Data Edit: Lets member edit their data.

5) Friend Confirmation Page: Confirm Friend List requests

6) Friend List: Look for friends; add, remove friends; address book import

I will send a more detailed description of how I designed each page and their page interactions to the winning bidder.

Points to Note:

- This is part 1 of the project. I expect to build a good relationship with the wining bidder for other, more complex, parts of the project.

- I expect bidders to make reasonable proposals for a Project Completion Date, with an explanation of why they need the amount of time specified. A work breakdown structure would be a bonus.
